Visit Minett leverages artificial intelligence (hereafter abbreviated to "AI") tools to enhance our services, improve efficiency, and provide the best possible experience for our customers. AI assists us in our work, helping us deliver increasingly accurate information, and do so in a more accessible way. While AI plays a supportive role in our processes, Visit Minett is committed to handling these AI tools in a responsible and transparent manner, attempting an ethical and responsible use of these technologies. Why This Statement?

Webpage visitors should be able to understand which content on our website(s) is using AI content or was created using AI tools. While we reject the unsupervised and unverified use of AI generated text content, we nevertheless use AI tools to enhance our content and make it more visible and accessible to as many visitors as possible.

Our Standards for AI Use

We use AI tools to enhance accessibility, inclusivity, and creativity. However, we uphold strict standards regarding their application:

  • AI-generated content: AI may be used for translations, or accessibility improvements (e.g., image captions or ALT-text features). AI-assisted content will be reviewed by a human before publication.
  • No AI in certain areas: We do not use generative AI for critical information such as legal policies, customer service responses without human oversight, or any content where authenticity and authorship are essential.
  • AI imagery: We do not use generative AI to create or unrealistically manipulate any location images used on this site. To the best of our knowledge, this also applies to images provided from third-party sources.
  • However, AI imagery tools may be employed to help edit existing imagery, for example to correct colors or out-of-focus elements; it may also be employed to help generate promotional material such as advertisement, flyers or banners, or to generate stock imagery not representative of the region
  • Transparency: Whenever AI-generated content, such as images or text, are used, we aim to indicate its origin if and when it is applicable.

Privacy and Data Protection

We do not input personal data (such as names, email addresses, or contact details) into AI tools. We also avoid entering confidential partner or business information into third-party systems. No customer data is used to train AI models.

Our use of AI tools complies with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and relevant parts of the EU AI Act.
