What was life in the countryside like nearly 200 years ago?
This museum is housed in an old farm built in 1840 and shows what working on a farm was like, along with many former village craftsmen’s workshops. You can also see a number of examples of agricultural machinery and furniture from the 19th century. Visitors are guided round by an audio tour. There’s a playground for children and a welcoming café-restaurant where visitors can go to enjoy some local specialities.
