Europe goes Scuffelingen

"Europe goes Scuffelingen" is organized within the framework of the "European people's festival", which today includes 15 European cities and municipalities. The first festival was held in Libramont, Belgium, in July 1992. The objective of the Eurofestival association is to organize an annual meeting in one of the cities of the network, which brings together citizens around a cultural, musical, artistic, sporting and culinary program. The participants have the opportunity to rediscover their own culture and to get to know other European habits and customs, in order to promote multiculturality, tolerance and diversity.

The 2022 edition of the festival aims to further increase sustainability and environmental awareness on the one hand, and to celebrate multiculturalism on the other. Thus, the whole population of Schifflange is involved in the conception and realization of the project, together with the twinning community Drusenheim in Alsace. Interculturality is the strong point of this meeting.
